Obituary of Marie BARANOWSKI

July 18, 1928 -December 17, 2019

Marie Baranowski, beloved wife of the late Jerry Baranowski of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the age of 91 years.

Marie will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Joanne Adomeit and granddaughter Jaclyn Adomeit (Rayne Krug-Wilson). She was predeceased by her husband Jerry Baranowski and son-in-law Carl Adomeit. Marie’s strength will be remembered by her family. At 91, she still took pride in caring for her home and garden. She was born in Poland and was relocated by the war to a German farm to work as a housekeeper. She made her way to Calgary after the war, where she met Jerry at a Polish dance. They married and had a daughter. They built a business and a home. They spent their retired years enjoying the outdoors and taking care of their only grandchild.
