Obituary of Charles “Charlie” Cyril LANG

October 1, 1947 – December 20, 2019

Charlie Lang, of Calgary passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 72 years.

Charlie was born in Lestock SK, and moved to Calgary in November of 1959. Charlie enjoyed the company of family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend, Rosalind Duval “Roz”; his cousin, “blood brother” Jim Lang, and truly missed by many other relatives, and friends. Charlie will be remembered for his feisty spirit, his sense of humour and his love for his nieces and nephews.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Frances Lang, five brothers, and five sisters, Patt (Marian), Marilyn (Lorne) Brown, Donn (Dari), Monica (Bruce) Krenzel, Colleen (Russ) Young, Gerry, and his late wife, (Denise), Leonard (Margot), Mark, Mary Anne (Bruce) Kinnell, and Rose Anne (Terry) Matlo; as well as, numerous nieces, and nephews.

Charlie was predeceased by his father, Ferdinand Lang in 2012; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
