Obituary of Barend (Bob) HERREWYNEN

Barend (Bob) Herrewynen, beloved husband of Jeanne Sheldon (nee), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Bob was born in Spijkenisse, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.  

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Sheldon, three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Barb Herrewynen of Kelowna, BC, Paul and Darlene Herrewynen of Calgary, AB, Christopher and Rachelle Sheldon of Calgary; two daughters, Joanne (Jody) Herrewynen, and Adrienne Lyall; seven grandchildren, Adam Billing (Sarah) of Calgary, AB, Michelle Herrewynen (Alan Woodland) of Vancouver, BC, Miranda Robertson (James) of Calgary, AB, Timothy Herrewynen (Nicole) of Kelowna, BC, Matthew Lyall of Olds, AB, Nathan Lyall of Olds, AB, Rachel Lyall of Olds, AB, Theodore Sheldon of Calgary, AB, Benjamin Sheldon of Calgary, AB; and one great grandchild, Benjamin Woodland of Vancouver, BC.  He is also survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Andre and Louise of Sherwood Park, AB, and Abraham and Lynn of Edmonton, AB; two sisters, Betty Simard of Edmonton, AB, and Carolina Lushney of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous extended family and friends. 

Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Audrey, his mother Henderika, his father Pieter, two brothers, Henk Herrewynen, Peter Herrewynen and his brother-in-law, Paul Simard. 

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Graveside Service preceding at Mountain View Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m.
