Obituary of Rita Catherine HUOT (nee McDonald)

January 21, 1929 – Wapella, Saskatchewan
December 25, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Rita Huot, beloved wife of the late Raymond Huot of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 90 years.

Rita worked for Honalulu Oil Company, Simpson’s Sears and Lock’s Delivery. She enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening and supporting family with their activities, but above all else she loved her children and grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her son Richard (Lynda); daughters, Anne-Marie (Jeff) Sklar, Patricia (Nicole), and Denise (Joel) Francisco; grandchildren, Jesse (Alyssa) Sklar, Nicole (Jonathan) Rosebush, Mitchell Huot, Easton Huot, Sarina Francisco, and Diego Francisco. As well as her brother Bruce McDonald (Mamie) and many close nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her husband Raymond Huot, mother Annie Whitton, father Donald McDonald, brothers, Ian, Patrick and Allan; and sister Anne.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  Reception to follow at the Parish Hall. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Rita’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
