Condolences
Joanne, Karen, Lisa, It is with deep sadness that we would express our condolences to you and your families on the passing of our beloved aunt Helen. She will always be remembered with fond memories by all of us. May you find comfort in knowing that she now rests in peace. God Bless. Steve, Donna, Kristen, and David Dell'Angelo.
To Helen’s family, my heartfelt condolences...we remember you “kids”.
Helen and I shared some great outdoor tennis & squash matches at “The Edgemont Club”. She tried to psych us out with her knee brace, but we never fell for that! (jk)!
Such a gracious and fun-loving lady with the biggest and brightest smile and a good giggle to go along with it! She was one of “the girls” and we treasured her friendship for many years.
Thank you for your friendship Helen...all our love.

I will always treasure my memories of Helen Nixon. I met Mrs. Nixon when I was 13 years old. Throughout the decades, she was full of love and affection for me and I her. The laughter and joy she brought to my life will always be remembered (especially the Maltese food & drinks). The stories that I have of Mrs. Nixon are full of her being amused (concerned) at Lisa’s and I’s antics and sharing her love of her daughters. I was invited to Joanne and Karen’s weddings and I saw her joy and happiness as she witnessed them get married. I watched her holding Kyle, her grandson, when he was an infant. She was always present, loving and supporting him and all her daughters.
Mrs. Nixon was at my wedding; she held my children when they were babies...she was always a special part of my life. My favourite memory of Mrs. Nixon was when Lisa and Rob were married in Malta (Helen’s parents were from Malta). She knew how happy Lisa was with Rob. Helen embraced Rob and his children, they became her son and her grandchildren. When Mrs. Nixon walked down the aisle with Lisa she was radiant. She saw all three daughters with their husbands and children. The loving feelings were returned by her family. Watching tiny Helen, with eyes sparkling, walking down the aisle with her youngest daughter was perfect. Helen was a lioness, protective of her children, and always loved those that came through her door. I have missed you for many years Helen. I know God has welcomed you into Heaven.
Christine
Dear Joanne, Karen, Lisa and families,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother and grandmother. She truly was a special friend of our family and we have such fond memories of our times together at Shuswap. She was a dear friend of my mothers and they shared many special times together in the garden or at dinner. Her infectious smile and zest for life will never be forgotten. May your treasured memories bring comfort during this time. Just know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers, Much love, Dave and Carol Stinton and family.
