Obituary of Nadia EL-DIB

July 6, 1995 – Montreal, Quebec March 25, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Nadia El-Dib of Calgary, AB, passed away on March 25, 2018 at the age of 22 years. Nadia El-Dib was born on July 6th, 1995, in Montreal, Quebec. She has been in Calgary for eleven years, and has made friends from Lebanon, all over Canada and the United States. Her bubbly personality and great sense of humour has impacted all those she met, and is reflected by the memories she has created with those that she has crossed paths with. Her legacy will live on as a strong, confident woman who has only brought the best out of anyone she met. Nadia can only be remembered as a light shining so bright that was put out too early, but those she met will continue to emit that light because of how she brought it out of those who needed a little brightness. Her friends and family will continue to voice her story to be able to keep her in our lives. Her death has impacted many, as she was an aspiring lawyer who had high hopes and dreams, but unfortunately she did not have the chance to realize them. Her kind heart and beautiful soul has touched many, and we know through stories and those who knew her, that she was there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and loved anyone who had entered her life. We will truly miss you Nadia, our stitch. Nadia will be remembered by her parents Sami and Joumana; as well as her sisters Sali, Racha and Jana El-Dib. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the reception centre.
