Obituary of Elizabeth Margaret SZABO

Elizabeth Szabo, beloved wife of Joseph Szabo, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

Elizabeth will be remembered as an amazing mother and a doting grandma. She loved to watch Matt play hockey and enjoyed her family barbeques.  She loved to work with her hands, whether outside in the garden or inside sewing different projects and she couldn’t turn down the chance to play a good game of cards.  One of her most memorable vacations was the wonderful trip to Disneyland she took with the grandkids.

Besides her loving husband Joseph, Elizabeth is survived by her son Attila (Judy); her daughter Elizabeth; her four grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer), Victoria (James), Lisa (Brendon) and Sara (Ryan); and seven great-grandchildren, Peyton, Cameron, Nash, Owen, Olivia, Madison and Makayla. She was predeceased by her son Joseph; her daughter Hajnalka; her parents, Jozsef and Elizabeth Berkes; and her two brothers, Jozsef and Gyorgy.
