My thoughts are with you on this difficult day. Bonnie was the most amazing, inspirational and strongest woman I know. She touched many with her openness, whether good or bad, about her journey with cancer. She will be missed by everyone.
Sheila (Blunden) Janzen
I am saddened to hear of Bonnie's passing after such a tough fight with cancer. I first met Bonnie when she was in her twenties, she was always a lot of fun to be with as she had a wonderful sense of humour. Bonnie will be deeply missed by all of those who's lives she has touched. My thoughts are with you Dale, Isabella, Horatio and Kathy at this very difficult time.
Sincerely
Carole Eliuk
Isabella, Horatio, Dale & Kathy,
Our thoughts and love are with you during this extraordinarily difficult time. Bonnie will be remembered by us as someone who was full of joy who loved to share that joy with others. Even during her illness, Bonnie carried herself with grace wanting only the best for those around her.
Her love, spirit and grace will live on through you and all your memories and will be there always when you need it the most.
Wishing you love and peace,
Jason, Emily, Kristine & Joel
When you know someone for more than 46 years there are so many memories to share. My most fond memories are of: riding our bikes to the pool everyday all summer, walking to the corner store to buy 1 cent candies, playing hand games on the pool deck, going back again at night for “fun night,” exploring and building forts in the empty lot by her house and mine, countless sleepovers with very little sleep, playing dolls and Barbies, playing softball where Bonnie was a hot shot pitcher, climbing fences , playing board games and massive games of kick the can. We had such fun as children as many others can agree. As we got older we went our separate ways until Bonnie and I moved in together when she was working and I was finishing university. We had many fun times at the Rattlesnake, skating outside downtown Calgary, going for pie and ice cream on Sunday nights for dinner. I cherish these moments and the privilege I had to have known Bonnie. She was brilliant, a hard worker, resourceful, FUN, sarcastic at times, had a great sense of humour, empathetic and caring. I loved you when we were children and will love you always. Love to your family who have all of her goodness inside of them.
