Obituary of Aron FUNK

September 3, 1932 - Main Center, Saskatchewan

January 18, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aron Funk, beloved partner, brother, uncle and friend on January 18, 2020 at the age of 87 years. He passed away at the Foothills Hospital surrounded by his partner Carol and family members.  

Aron will be remembered for his generosity, helpfulness and kindness.  Since his retirement, Aron took pleasure in wood and leather work and enjoyed being a great handyman.  He took meticulous pride in his craftsmanship.

We were all blessed to have him in our lives and he will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
