Condolences
Mom, she was the best anyone could ask for. She was caring, giving, and definitely had the biggest heart anyone could ask for in a mother. You were my rock through everything in my life, you were always there. Her and dad always had a place for anyone who needed a bed to rest and a place at the table, did not judge and always made everyone at home. She instilled this in all of her children, as I would like to think that we all would do the same for anyone in need.
She was our MOM and I loved her to the moon and back. There's not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you mom, and want to pick up that phone to see how your day is going, my heart aches because I know you are not there.
I Love You!
Always and forever Kathy
I Believe that there are ANGELS among us, and my MOM is one of them!!
Della and I met as neighbours back in the early ’50s and became fast friends. Our friendship lasted throughout the years. Even though we didn’t always see one another over the years, we kept in touch, shared our friendship, and many great memories. Our last visit by phone was Della’s last birthday. Our last words to one another were I love you. What a lovely memory.
My condolences to all of Della’s children and family. It was a better world because of Della.
Rest well my friend - you deserve it. I’ll cherish our friendship always.

Della was a life long friend of my parents and in my early adult years, she gave me shelter for a brief period (as she did for many) when I moved back to Calgary. Over the past couple of years, Della was my co-conspirator in supporting her niece, and my dear friend Suanne, in her journey with cancer. From this later experience, I learned much from Della about strength and compassion. I loved her for her good heart, generous spirit and incredible strength. Della will always hold a special place in my heart.
My sincere condolences to Kathy, Debbie, Trevor, Blair, and family.

Thank you mom for being there for me when I needed it.
You've always been there to share your love or give a tune up speech...there is so much to say.
Best of all....I love you mom and thank you!!
Della was the last of her generation, the keeper of lore for people who lived in times which will not come again. She was our witness. She saw us when we were small, learning what we would be, then she watched our journey. The world is more lonely now, as we continue our journey without her.
Godspeed, sister. We remember and honour you.
George
