Obituary of Gus Ralph SHAW

August 15, 1947 – Quebec, Canada

January 15, 2020 -Vulcan, Alberta

Gus Shaw of Lomond, AB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Dolph (Laura) Shaw of Edmonton AB, his daughter Tracy Lynn Shaw of Lomond AB; and by their mother Claudette Shaw of Calgary AB; three grandchildren, Dolph S Shaw, Belle Shaw and Johanna Shaw all of Edmonton AB.

Also mourning Gus are his younger siblings, Jessie Shaw of Calgary AB, Mel (Sherry) Shaw of Calgary AB, Jill (Gary) Cockerell of Bethany ON and Randy (Suzanne) Shaw of Toronto ON; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Gus is predeceased by his parents William "Uttley" Shaw and Janet (née Miller) Shaw; his sister Patricia “Pat” Shaw and brother Lance Shaw; and many fondly remembered and loved family members who have gone before him.

The family is holding a private Celebration of Life, Gus will remain in our hearts forever.
