Obituary of Agnes Joanne THURMEIER

September 26, 1945 – Regina, Saskatchewan
January 21, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Thurmeier, our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 74 years. She passed away peacefully at Rosedale Hospice while being attended by a very caring and compassionate staff. 

Agnes loved being outdoors enjoying nature in all seasons, travelling and sharing time with her many good friends and family.

Agnes is survived by her brother Ed (Ann), sister Marilyn (Murray), nephews Scott, Ross, Sean, Evan and Colin; and nieces Katharine, Heather, and Liane. Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Minnie, brothers Leonard and Ernie and her sister Janet.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
