Obituary of Gladys Mary PEREIRA

November 12, 1937 - Hong Kong, China

January 24, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Gladys Pereira of Calgary, AB, on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

After Gladys retired, she was able to travel and visited Asia and Europe. Gladys was a caring mother, aunt, and grandmother. She loved gardening and playing mah-jong, and loved that Chinook bridge. She also loved to feed family and friends who crossed her path at Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving gatherings.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Tony and Fred; daughters, Genie and Tricia; son-in-law Jim, daughters-in-law, Shirley and Tracy; and grandchildren, Danielle, Mike, Korey, Graeme, Robyn as well as their partners. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric. 

She will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family. 

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
