Condolences
One of the most powerful ministers of God I have ever known. I recieved Jesus as my Saviour under his preaching at the Sanfernando Open Bible Church over fifty years ago
The National Board of Directors of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Trinidad and Tobago Inc. recognizes the contribution that our Brother Holly Ramdial made to the organization and the Kingdom at large. Rev. Ramdial pastored the Marabella Open Bible Church from 1958-1968. Though he continued to serve in the area of evangelism until 1975. He also served intermittently as teacher at the Open Bible Institute. To quote from Praise and Promise - The History of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Trinidad and Tobago Inc. (1954-2004) written by Rev. Andy Homer:
"At Marabella the Ramdials, like so many of the early pioneers, were all rounders, serving as pastors, youth pastors, Sunday school teachers and evangelists" (p. 117). "During their sixteen years at Marabella, Brother Holly and Sister Lynette saw the work grow from a handful of believers to a thriving and vibrant congregation" (p. 116). "It is of great significance also that during this time, several individuals who were to make an invaluable contribution to the local church and the organization as a whole, came to know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour" (p. 117). God had indeed used Rev. John Nelson "Holly" Ramdial and his family to set a foundation for the organization in Trinidad. We extend our condolences to the Ramdial family, may you be comforted at this time knowing that he finished well.
"The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made." Psalm 145:13
I was blessed to have Holly, Lynnette, and Sharon as my neighbors when I lived next door to you in Calgary. Visits with you were always uplifting and left me feeling happy that you were a part of our neighborhood and my life. May God's love continue to surround you with strength and comfort in the days to come. Love and prayers to each of you. Mary Ann Britt
Our loss is deep, and our hearts heavy.
Yes, we dreaded this moment, but it is here.
Goodbye, my Pastor. I mourn your passing from this earthly life.
I weep over a relationship and mentorship that was significant but short. You taught me so much.
You have been a source of inspiration and motivation. Serving in the Marabella Open Bible church under your leadership was the most fulfilling of my ministry life.
Goodbye to a great mentor ever!

Hi Sharon, Wishing you and the family my deepest condolences, I have the best memories having learned so many new words while listening to his sermons as a child at Marabella Open Bible Church. He was a mentor and a true blessing.
Best Wishes, Bonnie Honoré Blondell
Some of our most cherished times were the social gatherings and special occasions shared over the years. Two wonderful events really symbolised the bond shared with our family in Christ. I look back at the grand celebration at Dynasty and the other at the dome where everyone shared in your special moments. I am so thankful for the memories, for the family that you brought together, for the countless hours of life well lived.
I am so sorry for your loss. I was just thinking that the first time I met and last time I saw your parents. Your dad had this big smile and it filled you up. His voice soft and gentle and always an ear to listen and encourage. He will be missed. Prayers and thoughts with you and your mom.
