Obituary of Christine Lorna PYE (nee Nicholson)

August 8, 1978 – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
February 3, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Chrissy Pye (nee Nicholson), cherished wife of Jaye James Pye, and loving mother of Jadenn Rayne of Calgary, AB, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 41 years.

Chrissy was born in Charlottetown, PEI, on August 8, 1978.

She graduated from the Bluefield High School, and moved to Calgary in 1998. She gave birth to her daughter Jadenn on July 10, 2001, whom she was particularly proud of and all that she has accomplished.

Chrissy was very active, she enjoyed running, yoga, and working out at Most Physical Preparation.

She will be most remembered for her passion, and vision to see what she wants, and going out and getting it! Her positivity was infectious to all who knew her. She lived her life to the fullest and relished in the memories she made with her family and friends.

Besides her husband, Jaye, Chrissy is survived by her parents, Robert and Kathy (nee Boulter) Nicholson of Crapaud, PEI, sisters Lisa Nicholson, and daughter, Eve, and Maria (Ryan) Johnson, of Calgary, AB; parents-in-law, Joy and Ivan MacSwain of Halifax, NS,  sisters, and brothers-in-law, Tanya (Dwayne), Laura (Trent), Darren, and Szarina (Kevin); grandparents, George and Lorna (nee MacFadyen) Nicholson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, her close friend, Jennifer Bakker, co-workers, and friends.

Chrissy was predeceased by her grandparents, Lloyd and Katherine (nee McNally) Boulter, and father-in-law, Gerald Pye.

Chrissy’s Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Chrissy’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
