Condolences
I am deeply saddened at the news of Joyce’s passing. I enjoyed her company on my visits to my mother Hazel and I enjoyed an annual letter exchange with news and photos of our respective families. Her kindness, generosity of spirit and dignity will continue to inspire me.

Joyce was my Great Aunt. My lovely Grandmother, Joan, was Joyce’s big sister! They shared a positive and generous outlook that belied the significant challenges they faced. Joyce had a warm frank friendliness and a zest for life that made her great company and inspired others to be hopeful and happy. She will be much missed and we send our deepest condolences to you all. With love Angela Hanmore
I met Mrs. Gray for the first time in 2008, shortly after my husband had passed away. My daughter, Sandy ( her daughter in law) my dog Ricky and I had landed on her doorstep on a hot August afternoon, during the Stampede, on our way to moving me to Vancouver. To say I was a hot mess would be an understatement. Mrs Gray was able to reach out to me that day in a way that no one else had been able to, she knew what grief was all about and her gentle understanding and caring had a lasting impact.
I count myself as being very blessed to have had Mrs. Gray in my life, she was such a special lady. To all the family, my sincere condolences.
