Obituary of Kuk Fa LOK

Kuk Fa Lok, beloved wife of the late Yuen, Bun Wo of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the age of 95 years.

Born in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China on October 23, 1924, she was the well-loved matriarch of her family. After raising her own children, she moved from Hong Kong to Canada, making Calgary her home in February 1986. Here, family continued to be an important focus bringing her joy as she played a special role in her grandchildren’s lives. She will be remembered as a hard-working, resilient, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Kuk Fa will be greatly missed and leaves behind her children, Simon, Margaret (Yau Leung) and Mick (Lily); grandchildren Jenny (Richard), Robert (Stephanie), David (Torrey), Nicole (Hirsch), Justin (Jennifer), Stephen, and Cathy; and great-grandchildren, Molly, Madison, Abigail, Avery, Lorelei, Evan, and Noah. She was predeceased by her husband Yuen, Bun Wo.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
