Obituary of Christiana Lee HENNINGER

Christiana Henninger of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the age of 52 years.

Chris was born in Banff, AB, on July 6, 1967 to Jette Hansen and John Stuckert. Chris was not the only child, she had an older brother Kent Stuckert and twin sister Michelle Protsch. Chris and family later moved to Lloydminster, SK, where in high school she met her first husband and had two children Teri-lynn and Justin. As a military family Chris, her husband and children did lots of moving around. After many years of moving Chris and her two children finally settled in Lloydminster, AB. Chris worked for the Shoppers Drug Mart as a cashier while she worked her way into the pharmacy as a pharmacy technician.

Chris became a grandma for her first time in 2002 to her grandson Shane, and in 2004 Chris and her daughter welcomed a granddaughter to the world Jaide. In 2005 Chris’s daughter met the love of her life Robert, Robert brought with him three children, Rori, Kelsey and Kody, that Chris welcomed with open arms as her grandchildren. Once again in 2007 Chris gained another granddaughter Brooke, however Chris’s family did not stop growing there as her son Justin and his girlfriend Randi welcomed another granddaughter Justean in 2018 and grandson Chase in 2019.

Chris loved her family but especially loved being a grandma.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends that she made over the years. Chris loved having backyard fires, bbqing, camping, travelling, the mountains or just simply being with her family.
She will be most remembered by her smile, advice, loving heart and her beauty.

Chris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teri-lynn and Robert Stuebing of Lloydminster, SK; son Justin Whiting and Randi Paranteau of Hiensburg AB; eight grandchildren, Rori, Kelsey, Kody, Shane, Jaide, Brooke, Justean and Chase of Lloydminster; and three great-grandchildren, Xavier, Kaybree, Jesse.  Chris is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Kent Stuckert and Linda of Calgary AB; her sister Michelle Protsch of Calgary AB; niece Jessica (Jeff) Kirkpatrick; nephew Jorden (Asha) Protsch; as well as great-nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother Jette Hansen and father John Stuckert.
