Obituary of Devin Alexander HORSLEY

It is with overwhelming sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful Devin. He passed peacefully due to complications of an ongoing illness.

From birth, Devin was loving, sensitive, and creative. His well known quick wit developed at a young age. Later on, he added artistic and mechanical skills. He went through the Nancy Greene ski racing program and was an excellent skier.

He received a diploma from SAIT in Mechatronics and spent a time at Mount Royal University.  He followed up with an eclectic range of studies: from art to welding.  Exceptionally skilled at anything he put his mind to; he set very high standards for himself.

Devin traveled the world but was happiest at home in his garage. His passion was Drifting. More important than the cars and the racing were the friendships he made in the Drifting community. He had started a business making specialty trailers for race cars. #34 has retired.

Devin is survived by parents, David and Tracey Horsley; sister and brother-in-law Aja Horsley and Kurtis Goat and their son Rhyver; his grandmother Marie Bredo; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2:00pm.
