Obituary of Alice Parker GAMMACK (nee Hamilton)

Alice Parker Gammack (nee Hamilton) age 93, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Alice was born on February 20, 1927 to William and Mary Ellen Hamilton in Calgary. Alice proudly lived in Calgary until her passing. In 1952, she met her loving husband and best friend Bill Gammack. They lived happily together for sixty-five loving years. Alice had a good heart spreading her love to all whom she met. She was always friendly and gentle to all those in her life. Her heart was filled with kindness and she will be forever remembered.

Alice is survived by her devoted husband Bill Gammack. Alice was an affectionate and loved mother, her four children and their spouses will miss her dearly, David and Andrea, Michael and Dot, Ian and Annemarie, and Heather and Mike; grandchildren, James, Andrew, Laura, Nancy, Eric, Jason, Alicia and Kyle. Alice will also be missed by niece Jane Rizzoli; nephew Bill Davidson; Evelyn and Tom Standerwick, who were still actively in her life; and many other extended family and friends.  Alice was always keen to talk about her childhood best friend, Jean Zabel.
