Obituary of Joseph Theodore RUSAK

March 2, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Joe Rusak beloved husband of Marita Rusak, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 88 years.

Joe was born in Toronto, ON, on November 6, 1931. Joe loved all sports especially baseball, hockey, and golf. He was particularly proud of the time he attended umpire training at Williamsport, Pennsylvania the home of the Little League World Series. Joe was a long time umpire for Little League baseball, and coached hockey for many years. Joe will be most remembered for being a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather.

Besides his loving wife Marita, Joe is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Nancy, David and Louise, Don and Suzy; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Glenda,  Bob and Lesley; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Dave; nine grandchildren, Jeffery, Alison, Taylor, Michael, Steven, Brandon, Alex, Julia, and Brett; and great-grandson Logan. Joe is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Charlie; nieces, Paula, Laura, and Barbara; and many cousins. Joe was predeceased by his mother and father Phyllis and Frank.
