Obituary of Marion Lynn HAGGAR (nee Briggs)

Marion Lynn Haggar of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 28, 2020, at the age of 73 years.

Lynn was born in Toronto, ON, on May 27, 1946, to Cliff and Betty Briggs. Lynn loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker, skier, camper, and adventure traveller. She had led many hikes with the Prairie Mountaineer Hikers group and made close friends there. Lynn also loved crafting and gardening. She won several awards for her “perfect little jewel” of a garden, something she was immensely proud of.

Lynn will be lovingly remembered by her son Scott (Camille) and grandchildren, Maeve and Meara. Lynn will also be fondly remembered by her brother Ted (Patti), her niece Heather and nephews, Michael and Ryan with whom she was close. Lynn always had Golden Retriever dogs and leaves behind her devoted companion Cooper.
