Obituary of James Frederick Sabatino CREASEY

May 12, 1952 – March 2, 2020

It is with immense sadness that we say goodbye to our brother and friend Jim. He passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 67 years.

Jim had many passions in his life, many of which he shared with his brothers, starting with music at a young age which led to playing guitar and singing in many bands. His other hobbies were skydiving, scuba diving, skiing, and martial arts. He achieved his black belt in Karate.

Jim had several careers one of which was the family business of dry cleaning. His last career of thirteen years was as a handi-bus driver which gave him great satisfaction, knowing he was giving back to others.

One of his greatest joys was the freedom he felt while riding his Harley Davidson long distances

Jim is survived by his four brothers, John (Brenda), Jeff (Toni), Jerry (Donna) and Jay (Tomo); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He will also be greatly missed by his girlfriend Carrell Laboret and her family.

Jim was predeceased by his father Ernest, mother Rita (nee Onofri) and his nephew Isaac. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on  Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  Reception to follow at the church. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Jim’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
