As one of my mom’s best friends, we spent many years together sharing the Jewish holidays with the Walker family. Helen always made sure to make my favourite dish. I still have the recipe card that she wrote out for me almost 30 years ago. She titled the recipe card,

“Mrs. Walker’s meatballs” and they are still my favourite.

I am often asked to make Mrs. Walker’s meatballs, whether it be my family or friends!

She will not be forgotten! ❤️

I'm sure you are remembering the amazing woman that was your mother and your bubbi (and mother-in-law). May her departure be lighter through the memories you share.
