Condolences
I have many fond memories of Bev, dating back to when we were students at Crescent Heights High School, where we spent many hours practicing and playing on the volleyball and basketball teams. She was a skilled teammate who played a huge part in the winning of City and Provincial Championships. The first thought I had of Bev when I learned of her passing was related to her subtle sense of humour (I believe inherited from her dad) that always made for good times. Another remembrance was when she pulled out her guitar and led her friends in hootenannies. I wish to express my sincere condolences to Barb, Louise and the rest of the Edwards Family.
I've known Bev since the 70's when I moved to Calgary from Ontario. Bev was always upbeat and so much fun to be around, so many good times and laughs with this dear person. Many ball tournaments attended and many a beer was had afterwards with laughing that went on and on. I will always remember Bev's smile and gentle nature - truly a great person and always someone I was proud to call a friend. RIP Bev, we'll miss you.
I have many memories of Bev dating back to grade 10 playing volleyball against and with each other, through to our days at UC as fellow teammates and students. There was always laughter when Bev was around, and I remember her for the good times we shared. My condolences to you, Barb, and your family at this time.
