Condolences
About 10 years ago I met Elenora on the Ancestry.ca website. We chatted on the phone over the years and emailed back and forth with information on our shared trees. Elenora's mother Anna Maria married my great grandfather Joseph De Luca in 1950 in Coleman, Alberta. Elenora's family tree grew by leaps and bounds over time. I just recently became aware of her death back in March 2020. To all her friends and family these are my sincere condolences. What a wonderful lady.

Aunt Elenora was one of our favourite aunts. She will be remembered for her life long hobby and task of compiling the family history. Family was very important to her and she attended all the family reunions, weddings, funerals, birthdays and special events. We always enjoyed talking to her and listening to her stories. She was a modern, lively and energetic lady always up to date with life. She will be sadly missed. Our heartfelt condolences to the family with Love Liz and Daryl D'Amico and family.
Elenora taught me in Grade one beginning in 1945 in Bellevue, and for several years was our neighbour in Bellevue. I also knew Becher very well indeed, and shared many a brew with him upon their move to Calgary. Elenora and Becher were also special friends of my mother and father. We go back a long way indeed. I remember her as a kind and patient teacher who was a thorough professional all the way and a very good person. My sincere condolences to the Wilson family.

We were saddened to read of Eleanora's passing. We did not see much of her is the past few years but our chain of memories goes back to the days that she taught me in Grade 1/2 in Bellevue, on to Captain John Palliser where she taught our children. My husband Harvey taught Sharyn at Aberhart and later worked with her at Abe. To bring our lives full circle we moved into a
villa in the Hamptons and guess who was our neighbour? She will be missed by everyone who was privileged to know her. Thanks for the memories.

In memory of one the greatest teachers that I ever had, though I didn't realize it at the time. Now, you can reacquaint yourself with my mother, who passed in 2018.
Rest in peace,

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you in the loss of your dear mother, Elenora.
Elenora was a very special lady and one that I fondly remember. She was my Grade 1 and 2 teacher in Bellevue, Alberta and will always be remembered as my favorite teacher.
My mother, Sophie Mattson, looked after you, Becher and Sharyn, when your Mum returned to teaching in the Pass. My mum had many fond memories of both you. Interestingly, Sophie was also born in Bankhead Alberta and passed away in 2012.
May the many special memories of your Mom comfort you during this time.
