Condolences
Dearest Nance,
I just can’t believe the news about Brian. I’m sorry it’s taken so long but I just saw the notice. My heart is breaking for you. It’s too much to believe that Brian has gone so soon. I hope that wherever you are that you can find peace, joy and love from those around you…..and know that your oldest friend still holds you very dear in her heart.
Dear Nancy,
It's so unbelievable that I am writing a condolence to you for Brian's sudden passing.....
It was only 5 months ago, that you and Brian came here to offer your heartfelt sympathy and support to me and the kids as we dealt with our loss of Ray.
Thankfully, we all got to enjoy Brian's infectious laughter, stories and company once again, at the family dinner.
The three of us raised a glass, one last time, in a toast to Ray, during our luncheon in Port Dover at the Erie Beach--one of our all time favourite spots!
The COVID-19 crisis prevents me from being at your side right now, but I take comfort, as you do, in the knowledge that you are surrounded by very good friends, who are like family to you and I thank them for their sympathy, kindness and support.
Until I can travel out to Calgary, we will have to make do with our marathon telephone calls!
You and I know that Brian is with Ray again and indeed, all of our parents and deceased relatives and friends--discussing the pros and cons of their various viewpoints--just like the endless evenings we once shared at our kitchen table here, years ago when the kids were young.
Brian was a wonderful husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend--he will be greatly missed but will live on, in our cherished memories.
Love,
Jane and family
