Condolences
Rob was not only an incredible uncle to Donny, Meghan and myself, but a brother, cousin, son and friend to everyone who knew him. Growing up, Dad would always tell us of your glorious days skiing together at Fortress and Sunshine, skiing black diamonds and moguls effortlessly and without any fear. Your charisma and joy for life was unmatched, so much so that when he would ask people on the ski hill if they had seen Bobby Maxwell they would respond "Oh, you mean Hollywood?" You were an inspiration for how to live life to the fullest and on your terms. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet you always had a legendary story to tell, whether it was jumping off a broken-down chairlift to a cheering crowd, answering the president's phone in his office at Lake Louise, surfing in big waves Hawaii, playing unforgettable hockey games in high school or playing in the Clan Max. You were one of a kind and we will all miss you dearly. Rest in peace.
To don scott rich and the rest of the extended maxwell family.Im sorry for all of at this time.I know what rob meant to all you brothers.Rob took the time in his time to show you how to live life a little on the edge in whatever he did .All you brother knew how his abilities at skiing couldn't be be matched.I remember looking at don, at the top of pallisaid park ski run at fortress mountain as rob proceeded to go first.Never forget that look ,You just shook your head , we were both blown away at his precision and dominance going down this run.His talents were not only sking.Rob could of been the best at any sport. He could dirt bike like nobody's seen to rich and scott I know you two will back me up on that statement.Any challenge that was presented he took it on and never gave up he was also very generous and giving .Always brought a laugh to everyone.Anyone I knew that knew rob will have a story. He is and was a very good friend to me.He left us fast and with memories,Mission accomplished rob ,YOU LIVED LIFE YOUR WAY. GOD SPEED
Dear Maxwell Family,
Rob was such a unique and amazing guy. Rob had a very infectious personality; he always brought me to laughter and made me smile. I remember running into Rob at the Parkland Mac’s after Scott and I had broken up...I think that I must have been out for a jog. He offered to give me a ride home and instead took me on a tour of all the outdoor rinks where he played hockey. It is memories such as this that make me realize what an impact your family has had on me in my life. I loved Rob and I love you all; you are still family to me. Times spent with you all are the fondest memories from my teens. Rob was a huge part of that. He had an awesome outlook on life. Please accept my sincere condolences. RIP Bobby Max
Love,
Stacey
Dear Maxwell Family,
My heart goes out to all of you at this most difficult time. I find myself thinking to many years ago and reminiscing my time spent 144 Parkland Place. Rob was a huge part of my life and I am deeply sorrowed to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with you and I hope your find some peace in the days to come.
Love Kathy
