With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Lamon of Calgary, AB, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 74 years.

Marilyn was a brilliant, beautiful woman who had the strength and courage of a lioness. She approached life with vigor and determination. Devoting her life to her husband and children, Marilyn was committed to creating a safe and loving home for her family. Family holidays, camping and heading “home” to North Battleford were some of her favourite pastimes. Crafts, sewing, dancing and learning were passions Marilyn loved.  Always open to new things, Marilyn had an adventurous nature and wanted to experience the world and did so by reading voraciously. A loyal and loving grandmother, her grandchildren were the loves of her life and she cherished every moment she had with them. Marilyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend.

Besides her loving husband David, Marilyn is survived by her children, Ilana (Chris), Kent, and Michel (Ryan); and grandchildren, Joshua, Devon (Stephen), Colton (Hannah), Hunter, Toews and Sage. Marilyn is also survived by her sister Llona (Robert), and brothers, James (Eileen), and Kenneth; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
