Condolences
To the family and friends of Sean Hickey,
Deeply saddened to know about the heartbreaking news.
I want to tell you all the story of Sean Hickey that I'm sure no one from friends or family would be aware of.
It's a very hopeful story. I want to tell you all about it.
My name is Ankit Pasawala. On my YouTube channel I posted a song where Sean Hickey posted a comment about listening to the song before going for a brain surgery to remove a tumor. There are thousands of people on the internet who stumbled upon Sean's comment.
I pinned that comment under the video, and so many people were hopeful about the condition of Sean, and were concerned about his well-being. Over the years, that comment thread kept growing inspiring hope. One day I thought to search about Sean, and found about the saddening news. I have written my thoughts about Sean in the video description and tried to give closure to people who were worried and confused about Sean's condition.
I hope you all find that comment and learn about this inspiring story to tell it forward to Sean's family and friends.

(Check the pinned comment and video description.)
(I also tried to connect to Jocelyn on Facebook about the same, but she might not have discovered my message.)
My prayers and deepest condolences to Sean's family.
Sincerely,
Ankit Pasawala
I remember Dan from attending St.Fx. He always had a warm smile and was such a nice person.

Dear Denis, Roberta, Thomas and family,
We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of Daniel's illness and recent passing. I remember attending our pre-natal classes together and we were so excited to welcome our firstborns. Then we got to enjoy our little ones at the firm's children's parties. Doesn't seem so long ago We cannot imagine the grief you are carrying now. May little Windsor always be there to give you hugs and kisses just like her Daddy did.
Brian and Debbie Kapusianyk
Dear Denis, Roberta, Thomas, Jocelyn and Windsor,

Jocelyn, Winn, Denis, Roberta, Thomas and the entire Hickey family. I was so saddened to hear of Dan's illness, and then of his passing. He was such a gracious, polite and kind young man. I had the pleasure of working with him at Plains, and he had a huge impact on everyone he worked with. We were all so lucky to have spent time with him. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

Dear Roberta, Denis, and Thomas,
My heart goes out to you on the news of Daniel’s illness and passing. I remember him as a spunky, athletic 10 year old in my Grade 4 class. He had an ever present smile on his face and was so well liked by his classmates. Daniel had charm and eloquence in spades. I will continue to pray for him, and for God to give you his healing grace.

Dear Denis, Roberta, Thomas and family.
John and I are so very sorry to hear of Daniel’s passing. What a beautiful tribute you gave him. There is so much love in every word. We are thinking of and praying for all of you at this very sad time.
Take care. Margaret and John McDonald ❤️
I can still see Dan running around the dressing room. The Captains' pre-game ritual of tossing out jerseys to all the players before each game. He was a pleasure to train, always had a smile on his face, and just a great guy to be around. The one liners and easy going attitude just kept everyone relaxed and smiling.
Dan was such a vibrant and nice young man to be around.
The way you treated people is a great lesson I learned from you. Always so nice & professional to everyone A great athlete as well.
You were a damn legend! I will never forget that smile.
Love, Matt Korchmar
Dear Robert, Denis and all the family

you are all in our thoughts and prayers as you journey through theses difficult days
hugs
Hey Roberta, Denis, Thomas and Jocelyn (who I have yet to meet, but do hope to meet you some day).
My fond memory goes way back ... to when when Lisa and I were living in Calgary. You had us over for delicious dinner, and after dinner, Denis, Daniel, Thomas and I had a very energetic game of hockey in your basement. I think Denis and I were the forwards, and I am guessing Daniel would have been 8 or 9 at the time. I remember it like it was yesterday (but it was 1995, I think).
God is love! Paul, Lisa, Trevor and Nicole McCourt, Toronto, ON
We are heartbroken. Honoured to have known such a wonderful loving human for all his life. We understand given the circumstances we cannot say goodbye with you and embrace you all in person. Please accept our embraces on here and please don't hesitate to reach out to us during this difficult time. All our love to Roberta, Denis, Tom, Jocelyn and Windsor. We will never forget his kindness, his sense of humour, his extraordinary gentle spirit.
Forever in our hearts and minds, the little red headed boy running around next door.
Dave, Immanuela, Cory and Zoey Lawrence
