It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Steve Ozar on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 86 years, with his loving wife Helen by his side.

Steve was born on July 2, 1933 in Bellevue, AB, to Sophie and Nick Ozar. Steve graduated from the University of Oklahoma as a petroleum engineer. He had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry, in Calgary. Steve loved to play golf and was a member of the Earl Grey Golf Course for over fifty years. He took great pride in getting not only one, but two, holes in one! Steve was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Calgary Stampeders.

Steve will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Helen of fifty-nine years, his daughters, Dianne and Maureen (Duane); his six grandchildren, Abby, Olivia, Charlie, Riley, Daniel and Will. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and took great pride in their accomplishments. Steve is also survived by his sister Stella and her children. Steve was predeceased by his father Nick in 1982, his mother Sophie in 2004 and his daughter Kari in 1984.
