Condolences
I have many memories of Stan and they are all good memories.
One that sticks out is when I was without a babysitter for Aya. I called Stan and he was so happy to have her. Stan and Aya spent the day at the zoo and that was the day their relationship was born. It was never said but I know they had ice cream.
I have had ups and downs in my life and he was always someone who would listen and give his advise He brought a smile to me whenever I saw him.
There are no words to express how much our family will miss him.
Dear Alek and Betty,
So sorry for your loss. Stan was an old friend of my late father Pete.
May God comfort you.

Stan was my high school history teacher in the early '60s. He imbued in me a love of history that continues to this day. I wish I could have said "Thank you Mr. Grywalski" personally but alas; RIP.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness at the passing of Dr. Stanley Grywalski. I have known Stan since his first teaching position at Sunalta Jr. High School, some 64 years ago. Our friendship was very special and we even shared part of that time as a married couple. After our marriage ended, my two daughters and I kept in touch as we went our separate ways. Stan especially enjoyed the visits by Kimberly and her daughter Harmony. Stan was a complicated man, a true academic having received six degrees. He had a kind heart and was a loyal friend to many over the years. Stan spent many years in Camrose as Superintendent of Schools for the Camrose School District and later in the same position with the Catholic School District. We will all miss him terribly, and our sympathy and love go out to his brother Alec and wife Betty during this difficult time....our prayers are with you both. RIP dear Stan........Carol, Crystal, Kimberly and Harmony
