Condolences
The Chiassons Apr 25, 2020
Gordon,
We just heard of your loss. Our heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to you and your family. Our parents always had great, funny references regarding Ann as we were growing up regarding her, and among other things, her passion for hooking rugs.
Sincerely,
Anne, Paul Jr., John, Trevor and our families that we fondly share these stories with.
Peace be with you during these times and always.
Our sincere condolences to Gordon and family on the passing of a kind and gentle spirit. We know that current circumstances make things even more difficult. Please know that we keep Ann's memory and all of your family in our thoughts and prayers.

My dear cousins and uncle, I am very sorry for your loss. I had very few times with your mom but I cherish always the time she and the rest of you took me into your home for a visit when I was just a teenager looking for an adventure. YOU all made me feel so special and I know you all feel a great loss for this dear woman. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My condolences to Ann's husband, family and friends. Ann was one of my first rug-Hooking teachers; she taught me the importance of a contrasting outline and shared a 'just the right shade' formula for my pansy mat, in her gentle way. She will be missed.
Mom,
How do I say goodbye to the person who made me what I am…
You taught me to love, feel compassion, forgive… to live, appreciate the simple things, and to laugh.
You taught me to love nature. So every time I walk and hear a Chickadee sing, or see a spring crocus, or enjoy a blue sky over an incredible vista… I think of you
You taught me to love Classical Music and Opera, so every time I hear Chopin, Verdi, Offenbach, all your favourites… I think of you
You taught me to love art and culture, so every time I visit a Museum, or see a play, a musical, a movie, or a powwow… I think of you
I guess I don’t have to say goodbye, because You exist in everything I Love.
- Peg
Dear Mr. Taylor, John, Andy, Peggy and Barb
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Taylor - your wife and mom. Thinking of her brings back a ton of wonderful memories growing up on Varsity Drive and the adventures/trouble that your mom allowed us to get into. I will never forget driving north with your family as a child and exploring Pink Lake by Helicopter. Take care - my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Ann's passing will leave such a huge void in the rug hooking community. Ann freely shared her passion and knowledge with so many of us. I am so fortunate to have one of her rugs hanging in our home.
My sympathy to her family. You were blessed with a national treasure.

Ann will be missed. Her passing leaves a huge gap for many of us at Chinook Guild of Fibre Arts - especially the Wednesday Group of hookers. She graciously shared her wealth of knowledge and natural ability with all who sought her out. Love and sympathy to her family and all who knew her.

Gordon and the Taylor children I am so sorry for your loss. I remember spending many wonderful days at your home on Varsity drive NW during my elementary thru to High school years. Ann was such a wonderful, loving, generous and talented woman and always made everyone who entered your home feel welcome. My deepest condolences to you all. May you take comfort in the many wonderful memories. May time heal your broken heart. :)
