I worked with Al for many years at HBC. I admired his hard work and dedication to the Company. We will miss him at our monthly retirees luncheons. My condolences to his sons and family on their loss. Gary Kelley
I worked with Al at The Bay many many years ago. He was a true pleasure to work with and I have thought of him fondly many times over the years. I am so sorry for your loss. Susan Bish, you may remember me as Cindy Engelman. It is so nice to see you've been a part of Al's life. He was a great friend to me. A finer gentleman I have never known.
I worked with Al when he was doing marketing for Indo Designer Rugs and I worked for Western Living magazine. He was very professional and just a joy to deal with. We had very enjoyable lunches at Cilantro and the last time I spoke with him, he mentioned those lunches. We also shared our love for our dogs. He really was a lovely man!
Sincerely,
Connie Leidal
Worked with Al in Calgary for a number of years. I remember Al as a no nonsense type of guy who always got the job done, a very dedicated executive. After we all retired, the last Tuesday of every month was our time to get together for lunch and reminisce about “ the good old days “. Al had lots of stories . He will be missed. A truly great gentleman.

So sad to hear of Al’s passing and remember the many times I called upon Al to help me on operational issues while at the Bay.
He had an impressive career and always kept busy long after he retired.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, cherish all those memories
Gord
I worked for many years at the Better Business Bureau with Al. He was a great mentor with a big heart. I have very fond memories of him. My condolences to his family.
