Anton Till of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the age of 89 years.

Anton was born in Eisgrub, Czechoslovakia on March 27, 1931.After immigrating to Canada, Tony met and married his wife of over forty years, Eva Till (nee Wiese). He worked as a millwright, carpenter, and refractory mason before retiring. Tony was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping, and alpine hiking. He loved animals, including the canaries he raised.

Anton is survived by his two daughters, Irene, Mona and son-in-law Stan Berthelette; his four sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Marilyn, Allan and Donna, Frank, and Michael and Karen; grandchildren, Steven, Brent, Candice, Jordan (Jillian), Kendall (Alycia), Michaela (Sean) Duitman, Taylor, Alannah (Jason), and Evan; and his great-grandchildren, Hope and Chloe. He is also survived by his brother Roland of Germany. Anton was predeceased by his wife Eva; brother Norbert and sister-in-law Rosel.

A Public Viewing will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) on Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to end 8:00 p.m.

Family Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Friday, April 3, 2020. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
