Condolences
We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Marilyn, my condolences go out to you and your family. I will pray that God lifts you up as you mourn the loss of Bob. I have many fond memories with you and Bob as we hiked in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. I know my dad considered Bob his best friend. I appreciated hearing of all of the fun stories of their days in college and the jokes they pulled on each other at their respective weddings. I know Bob appreciates those times where I would join in with him and teasing my dad. I’ll miss his humor, our discussions about the Minnesota Vikings and our mutual appreciation of God’s beauty revealed in the mountains. In Sympathy, Gary Jacobson - Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We are sorry sorry to hear of your loss Marilyn, our prayers are with you and the family through this time.
God bless
Georgetta, Sylvia, Krista
So many good memories of the years at First Lutheran with Bob Moland, and appreciation for being able to keep in touch with him since then. He will be greatly missed.
My family first met Pastor Moland our first week in Calgary and his first Sunday as Pastor at First Lutheran. He was an amazing friend to our family - baptizing my Niece, marrying my husband and I, sharing family celebrations and being the only non-family member there when my dad passed. Marilyn and family, we feel your loss. He was a very special man and we will join you in always remembering him. From the Wagner/Koepke/Walsh Family. [written by Jan Walsh]
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Bob Sr. He loved his family greatly and had an open heart that allowed for two little girls to get a grandfather that loved them and for one that came a little earlier then expected. I will always remember the button picture frame and the fun I had teasing him - and getting as good back. Dinners were special with Bob Sr. and Marilyn. You always came away with your stomach and heart full. Bob Sr. always made sure you left with a hug and wave as you went home. I will always remember him waving from his front porch.
So sorry to hear of Pastor Bob Moland's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Marilyn and all your family. He will be greatly missed by many. We have many good memories when he served at First Lutheran Church and also our son, Darren was one of his confirmation students.
Our deepest condolences,
Doris & Roger Haynes
