Condolences
Many fond memories of Anne from Heritage Park. She was truly a gentle woman. Always quick to praise, step up to help and offer quiet advice. I am so fortunate to have crossed paths with her.
Sincere condolences to cousin Justin and Anne's beloved twins, Heather and Mel, and all her precious grandchildren.
I have fond memories of her, from a trip to Canada, years ago, when the girls were still as school and ice skating! She was a gracious host, a super cook and a good companion on our day at Heritage Park, which I found fascinating. Anne made it all come alive. On their return trip to the UK they all stayed with us in Dover, whilst visiting the family, and then more recently when we lived in Belgium, they visited us in Ostend with their Dutch friends. It was a beautiful sunny March day and once again we made happy memories. I have searched for the photos but they have got lost in the ether it would seem. The memories are all in my head of a lovely lady who was the same age as me and we shared a lot of interests, including a love of flowers. We lived on different continents but were 'sisters under the skin'. May she now rest in peace after all her suffering.
Sincere sympathy to you Justin, Melody, Heather and families. Anne was a special person to all those who knew her, and we will miss her. Your loved one rests in Peace, and we wish that for all of you in the days ahead.
Love, Terry & Wayne
The first time I met Anne was when Justin brought her to Vancouver to meet the his family and to attend my daughter’s baptism, he is her godfather. I had to post that photo of her, so lovely and Justin looking so proud. Anne was a good friend and sister-in-law for a time, she was a fun loving and generous character and we had a great time living in Leslieville, playing with the children and exercising together. We had shared good times and sad through the years and although we were not able to share in her last years, when I married Len and moved to Saskatchewan, we had a strong spiritual connection and had one last visit when we drove to Vancouver last year. She will live on in our hearts and our memories, I am forever thankful to have had her in my life and her love and encouragement for Kate and Oliver in their early years and later on fill my heart with love for her. Goodbye my friend, you will rest in the Lord and enjoy your just reward. God bless you, Love Angela & Len
Justin, and family, I am sorry for your loss of Anne. She had a strong faith in Jesus as her Saviour and is now with him. If you had not loved much you would not hurt much stated by Zig Zigler a Christian Motivational Speaker. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings
