Obituary of Dan RASMUSSEN

October 5, 1934 – March 31, 2020

Dan Rasmussen of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the age of 85 years.

Dan was born in Calgary, AB on Oct. 5, 1934.

Dan is survived by his wife Patricia Johnston, son Rod Rasmussen (Susan); daughters, Roxane (Rocky) Rasmussen and Theresa Johnston (Glenn Hill); grandchildren, Kai Rasmussen (Kalie), Rebecca Thompson (Wayne), Tyren Johnson, Austen Hill, Taylor Hill, Nathan Livingston (Jenny), Vanessa Scott (Michael); great-grandchildren, Anya Rasmussen, Ariel and Melody Scott and Uzaiah Livingston. 

Dan is also survived by his sisters, Judy (Marlen), Nancy (Gerry), Janie and Ruthie Rasmussen (Phil); sister-in-law, Brenda Rasmussen, brothers-in-law Chuck Johnston (Lucille), Jim Johnston (Bonnie); and his ex-wife June Dedman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Kaj and Karen; brothers, John, Kaj and Bobby; sister Rosie and infant great-grandson, Alyster Rasmussen (Stillborn).
