Obituary of Zenon "David" CLARK
September 11, 1932 – April 4, 2020
Dave Clark, beloved companion of Doreen Kilbourn, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the age of 87 years.
Dave was born in Baytree, AB, on September 11, 1932. He attended Westglen High School in Edmonton, AB, and graduated at the early age of fifteen. Dave articled with the Provincial Government and attained his Chartered Accountant designation with honors. He worked 32 years for Mobil Oil and was promoted to General Accounting Manager. Dave was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and volunteered with Immigration Calgary and Calgary Counselling Services. Dave accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of both of his children becoming lawyers. He had a passion for cross country skiing, gaming, opera and travel. Dave’s most memorable vacation was in 1956, when he travelled Europe with his brother Al and good friend Jack. Dave especially loved family gatherings involving good food, good wine and classic movies. Dave will be remembered for his quick wit, extensive knowledge and his gift as a quiet man to build lifelong relationships.
Besides his loving companion Doreen, Dave is survived by his daughter Tracy Clark (Steve) and son Robert “Bob” Clark (Tien) of Calgary. Dave is also survived by his brother Al Clark and sister-in-law Margaret Clark of Huntington Beach, California. Dave was predeceased by his wife Natalie “Vivian” Clark and his parents, Mary and Anthony Clark.
