Obituary of Roze MAGEGA (nee Zmud)

March 13, 1933 - April 8, 2020

It is with great sadness the family of Roze Magega announces her passing on April 8, 2020 at the age of 87. 

Roze was born and raised in the Alvena, Saskatchewan, area. She moved to Calgary, Alberta where she met Walter. They married on July 21, 1956 and lived in Calgary except for a brief period of 5 years in Coquitlam, BC. Roze was known for her generous hospitality and tasty perogies. She always had a pot of coffee on and an open door.

Roze is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Terry) Joevenazzo and Lynda Hillier; as well as her treasured granddaughters, Rose, Larkin and Lucil Joevenazzo, and Kaitlyn, Cassidy and Shelby Hillier. She is also survived by one brother, Michael (Sandi) Zmud. 

A private graveside service will be held. 

Her family would like to thank all the staff at Revera Scenic Acres for the kind and attentive care that she received in her years of residence there.
