Obituary of Marilyn Cecile SISSON

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020 at the age of 88 years. 

Marilyn is dearly missed by two daughters, Diane and Charmaine; and four sons, Murray, Joseph, Ron and Michael. Marilyn also loved two sons-in-law and four daughters-in-law, David Cleland, Richard Walker, Danielle Sisson, Claire Sisson, Brenda-Lee Sisson and Tiara Sisson. Marilyn treasured her grandchildren, Jill, Katherine, Heather, Shauna, Mitchell, Maggie, Jake, Jessie, Ciaran, Jamieson, Cayley and Caelan.  Brandon, Reed, Donovan and Elliot were also part of Marilyn’s family circle.  Marilyn’s joyful circle expanded again with great-grandchildren, Owen, Lillian, Jae, Ren and Olenna.  Marilyn’s relatives, the Halls, the Salos and the Twas will miss her gentle spirit.

Marilyn was a cheerful, caring soul who put her family first.

She will be laid to rest with her late husband William James Paul Sisson and a private celebration of her life will be at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Spruce Lodge for their friendship and care during Marilyn’s ten years there.  We also appreciate the Foothills Medical Centre staff who were with Marilyn in her final days.
