Condolences
Although I did not know Linda very long, it didnt take long before I knew that she was a special caring person. I did meet both Matt and Jen, and just let you know you both meant the world to her. Rest in peace Linda.
So sorry to hear of cousin Linda's too-early passing. Condolences to John, Jen, Matt and extended family.
“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.” Kind regards from Beth Cumming in Ottawa.
Matt, I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you as I know how close you were to your Mom. Thinking of you. Everyone at work misses you. Susan McPherson, Calgary
I have fond memories of Linda from high school. She had a great smile and although reserved she was fun to be around. I always hoped our paths would cross again but they never did. Carol Loughrey, Fredericton
I am grateful that Linda is out of her pain but so sad that I will no longer be able to share stories and laughter with her. Due to the COVID situation my visits to Linda were unfortunately stopped. I last shared time with Linda a couple of days before the social distancing began and was so glad to see her located at the Rosedale Hospice. Such a peaceful setting.
I shall remember Linda with her impish smile and ready laugh, her love of solo travel unless it was with her kids. I met Linda back in 2001 and we have shared many lunches, trips to Trochu for shoe shopping ( we were discussing her red sandals with the flowers the last time we met), suppers, wine and laughter. Even when she was frustrated about something she seemed to manage to find the humor in a situation and there would be her smile.
Due to the continuing COVID restrictions I felt that it would be unwise of me to come to the visitation but I celebrate Linda in my heart. My condolences to her children, Jen and Matthew, and the rest of her extended family. Linda was truly a gem and the world is poorer without her.

Although you're gone, I'm not alone,
And never shall I be,
For the precious memories of the bond we shared
Will never depart from me.
Our love surpassed the ups and downs
And helped us along the way,
And that same love will give me strength
To manage this loss each day.
On my mind and in my heart,
Mom, you shall forever be,
For just as much as I am a part of you,
You are a part of me!
