Condolences
We first met Loreen first at Faith Lutheran Church where we got to know her and then again at Hope Lutheran Church where we got to know her even better. We are so glad we did. She always had a positive attitude and was always ready with a smile and a hello to cheer us up. We were supposed to cheer her up but she always managed to make us feel better. She was also so very kind to our sister/sister-in-law, Lois, who had physical disabilities. She sent Lois cards and kind messages whenever Lois was sick or hospitalized. These cards meant a lot to Lois and to us as well. We send our sincere condolences to all her family members. Rest in Peace Loreen. Marilyn and George Haugen
I met Loreen through my voice teacher, Karen Olson. My strongest memory of Loreen was her kindness to me. I enjoyed seeing her when she started to attend Hope Lutheran. We would always chat after the service. Again, her kindness was a gift to my soul. May she rest in peace and joy in the Presence of God. Blessings and comfort be upon her family who must miss her very much.
With love. Lois Reid
We were long time friends of Jerry and Loreen and enjoyed many good times together at Faith Lutheran. During those years of friendship we raised our children, and attended and volunteered at the church, and visited in each other's homes. I always admired Loreen's pottery painting which displayed her artistic talents. Even after losing Jerry way too soon, she remained faithful and active in the church and with friendships. When we visited at her senior home we met Daryl Janz coming in the door and she told us they grew up in the same town in Saskatchewan. Even during the last years when she attended Hope Lutheran Church she was always greeted warmly by many friends. She will be missed. Leonard and Glory Christensen
