Condolences
Darcy, Paige and Matt. I had the privilege of having time spent with Dawn over the last nine years. She was generous, thoughtful and an unbelievable hostess! Thoughts and hugs to all of you during this time. Candace, Bryan and Mikayla Tchir
Darcy, Matthew and Paige, Please accept our sincerest condolences on your loss of Dawn. I am still in awe of the lovely dinner that was hosted at your beautiful home in honour of Gary & Michelle's anniversary and how nice it was to be included in such a fun and special evening. We are thinking about you. Memory eternal.
Yours truly,
Stacy & Kevin Johnson

Darcy, all of us at Gallagher are so sad to hear about your loss. We send our collective thoughts and good wishes to you and the family. Take care, David.
I was blessed in my life to have Dawn as a friend. Just hanging out, visiting over her fresh made scones, running errands or enjoying a dinner, time spent with Dawn was special. She is the only person in my adult life that called me Kendall; "Kendall, get over here"; I loved it as I did all moments we shared. We met at Mobil Oil and stayed in touch during career changes and her incredible family life.
The last time we spent together was having food court Chinese and wondering the shops at Market Mall before Christmas. We tried to get together in the new year but our schedules didn’t pan out. Then Covid happened and we couldn’t. Time wasn’t on our side. We lost her, the world lost someone great, someone who made everyday special and treated her friends with the warmth of family. Hope you are at peace now, you will be missed always. Love Your Friend. Amanda
Darcy and Family,
We are so deeply saddened for your loss and we share our condolences. Dawn was one feisty lady who called it as she saw it, rarely mincing words. Cherish the fond memories she has given us. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Matthew and Paige,
I was saddened to read your Mom’s obituary in the Herald today. I remember your Mom very well. I had been your family’s pediatrician. The narrative in the Herald described your Mom beautifully. Indeed, she was ‘feisty’ and ‘selfless’. She loved you both with tremendous intensity. That was abundantly clear. I am sending you both wishes for your peace and comfort during this very sad time.
Most sincerely,
Cheri Stanzeleit

Dawn was a special, kind person and I always appreciated her direct approach to "women up". She and I became friends in and out of the rinks and I will never forget her spirit and contributions. She inspired me and my girls to be creative and push the limits on party planning! We both agreed in the "no hugging" and had great laughs about it.
Thinking of you Paige, Darcy and Matt as you navigate the upcoming months. Please reach out if you need anything at all or just want to talk about Dawn. You are a remarkable family and I am blessed to have been a part of your life. Take Good Care,
Sincerely,
Michelle
