Obituary of Linda (nee Warren) CHILDS

Linda Childs of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the age of 70 years.

Linda was born in Montreal, Quebec on September 30, 1949. She moved to Calgary, Alberta  in 1979; then to Airdrie, Alberta in 2005.  Linda was very family oriented. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved big get-togethers with family and friends, trips to the mountains and shopping.

Family and friends describe Linda as social, bubbly, gentle, kind, funny and feisty. She always treated everyone like family and truly warmed the room.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Wesley; and her two grandchildren Jaiden and Zander d’Haene of Airdrie, Alberta. Linda is also survived by her two brothers, Jerry and Kevin; two sisters, Janice (Victor) and Sandy (Derrick); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, George and Rita Warren; her sister Beverly; brother-in-law Albert Harding; and sister-in-law Jackie Warren.
