It was our great pleasure to have been part of her life even for a short while. She was indeed a lovely, sweet lady, always pleasant to talk to. I personally call her “Miss Sunshine” as she loves wearing this bright yellow top or scarves that really suits her personality. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family especially during this time of great loss.
We will always feel blessed to have had Mary as a friend. May all the wonderful memories and love you shared together help heal your hearts. Ken, our thoughts are with you and the family.

Ken,
Allan and I were so fortunate to have you and Mary as friends. We especially remember our suppers together. Mary always liked to look out the window and see the wildlife and birds. She was a very special lady and we were privileged to have her in our lives. We will miss her but she will be watching over you Ken and her family.

I knew Mary from the scarecrow invasion committee. I remember looking at her & she smiled at me & the words came out “ you are a very beautiful striking lady”. She smiled at me & said how nice it was of me to tell her that. From that day on she always recognized me no matter where we were. I say it again, Mary was a beautiful lady on the inside & out. You will be missed, bless you.

I always did the music for finale of the Scarcrow festival at the pavilion in Meaford. Mary would always come over and compliment me on my music and how she had my cd at home. Always impeccably dressed whenever I saw her and Ken walking anywhere. I always stopped and had a talk with them both and called them “love birds” and every time she would say my music made her happy. So lucky to have known them both. A life lived well. RIP.
