Obituary of Louisa Loo Shuen LEE (nee Lui)

Louisa Loo Shuen Lee (nee Lui), of Calgary, AB, born on May 26, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

She will be remembered and missed as a strong, independent, and capable matriarch. She was endlessly dedicated to her parents, husband, children, and grandchildren. After immigrating to Canada in the 1960’s, Louisa excelled in her long career in computer science. A beloved member of the Chinese community in Calgary, Louisa enjoyed travel and fashion, spending her time performing traditional Chinese opera, and playing mah-jong with her many friends.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy (Kuk Hong), brother Arthur (Christine): children, Simon (Anna), Lianne (Michael), and Polman; and grandsons, Francis and Colton. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Louisa’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
