Condolences
There’s not much I know as deeply as I know that my Dad loved me, and was proud of me. And my mom, and brother, and our families. He was pretty quiet and reserved, but we could feel it, from just the light in his eyes when we were together. We might not be together anymore, but I will always always feel how loved I am by my Dad.
And I feel the same. Love you forever. ❤️

So sorry to hear of Bob's sudden passing. My heartfelt condolences to all.
I joined the Cameron family in 1984 by then Bob and Jean were living in Calgary so I didn't really get to spend much time with you all. Jean kept us up on the King family news through phone calls, letters and eventually emails.
Bob and Jean were perfect for each other. Both soft spoken, calm, loving and witty.
A couple of weeks ago Jean called and we talked for about an hour. In our conversation she said maybe after this COVID-19 Bob would ask her out on a date. This is just one example of true love.
Jean I know it's going to be hard for a long while for you all. Nothing can prepare us for the future so we just have to live each day to the fullest. Take comfort in knowing that a lot of people are thinking of you all at this trying time.
Cherish the memories.
Take Care Jean and Clan

Pat and I are very sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I worked with Bob at Royal Trust for many years. Pat knew him through the RT Christmas Parties etc. Bob set up my first and only personal e-mail. I still use the same hotmail account. Bob was a true gentleman who always had time to help follow employees.

It was with much sadness I read of Bob’s passing in yesterday’s paper. We worked together at Royal Trust for many years. He was one of those people that was all around nice. I don’t think I ever saw him flustered or upset. He was a calm and beautiful soul who was knowledgable and patient when training those of us that were learning the ropes.
Many years ago he gave me the tip that I should put a copper penny in my tulip vase to make them stand straight up. Just yesterday I bought tulips and I put a penny in the vase!
My deepest condolences to Jean, Jennifer, Rob and families.
He was one of the good guys! May your cherished memories bring you comfort for
Many years to come.
Loving thoughts your way during this very difficult time.

Yvonne and I were truly saddened to receive the news of Bob's sudden passing. I worked for many years with Bob at Royal Trust and considered him a friend as well as a colleague. Bob was the epitome of honesty and integrity in every aspect of his life. We were fortunate to be able to maintain contact with Bob and Jean for the past 20 plus years at Bob and Helene Scott's annual Christmas get together. Bob always had a big smile, a sharp sense of humor and a kind word for everyone. I can't think of anyone that he couldn't find something good to say about them. Bob will be truly missed by many. Yvonne and I offer our sincere, heartfelt condolences to Jean and her family.

To my dear sister, Jean, and my awesome nephew and niece, Robbie and Jenny.
I am so sad but I will focus on my fond memories of Bob.
When I was in my 20's my old car broke down in Montreal traffic. Bob and Jean came to my rescue, towing me back (with their car!) to Ottawa .It was quite the trip.
Bob was my idea of a good man.Quiet and strong and totally devoted to his family. What a legacy he leaves in the form of wonderful children and grandchildren. In our hearts forever.

I am so sorry to hear this news! Jen told me about this the other day and I was shocked! Bob was a like a second Dad to me when Jen & I were in high school together. I have many wonderful memories of the whole King family. Bob was such a kind, gentle man who always had a smile on his face. He will be dearly missed by many. My prayers are with you all!!
I am so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob and I worked together at Royal Trust for some 11 years. He always provided such wonderful support to our teams. I remember Bob fondly for his calm demeanour and great sense of humour. My deepest condolences to Bob's family and close friends.
I was so very sorry to read about Bob's passing in the newspaper this morning. I fondly remember Bob when we worked together at Royal Trust. He was a mentor to me early in my career, a trusted colleague, and one of the nicest people I've ever known. My sincere condolences to Jean and family. Christine Gingerick
