Jerry Ramey, beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the young age of 49 years.

Jerry was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on August 23rd of 1970. From the day Jerry was born he was full of love and adventure.  He loved the outdoors, camping lots with friends and family. He had a passion for travel and enjoyed experiencing the different cultures of the world.

Being athletic was a theme that followed Jerry throughout his life specifically with hockey and baseball. He also shared a love for NASCAR like his father Jerry Sr. Jerry was funny and his charismatic personality radiated, he was always attentive to the needs of family members and friends.

Everywhere we look, we are reminded by how big his heart was and how his kindness touched many. Jerry will be missed dearly by all.

Jerry will forever be missed by his daughter Jessica Lomenda; mother Joanne Ramey; sister Liza Craig (Larry Craig) and nephew Cody Craig all residing in Calgary, Alberta; as well as his paternal grandmother Maureen Day residing in Hamilton, Ontario; and numerous cousins, and friends throughout Canada.

Jerry was predeceased by his beloved father Norman (Jerry Sr.) Edward Ramey; and niece Emelia Craig.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jerry’s honour, as Jerry was the 3rd victim in his family to parish from heart disease / complications.

Due to Covid19 the Funeral must be privately held. The service will take place at St. Albert the Great Church on  Friday, May 8th 2020. Jerrys Family is hoping to hold a Celebration of Life on what would have been Jerrys 50th Birthday in August 2020 Pending Covid19 Health Status.
