Obituary of Sharon Mary CONVEY

December 9, 1946 - Cornwall, Ontario
May 2, 2020 – Cochrane, Alberta

Sharon left us for a Peaceful world on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the age of 73, after four years of a very challenging battle with dementia and multiple types of cancer.

Sharon was the third child of a family of four. Predeceased by both parents Roland and Uldine Derouin, her brother Ron, brother-in-law Gordon Bulat, and sister-in-law Bernice Convey.

Beside her dearest husband Anthony "Tony" Convey, she leaves to mourn her sisters Lana Bulat and Debbie (Willy McCaffrey), her sister-in-law Eva Derouin and the Convey family; John (Audrey), Pat (Sheanna), Neil and Catherine Ann (Jim Purney); several nieces and nephews, other family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers and clients, everyone has been very supportive... THANK YOU!

Sharon and Tony were married for 53 beautiful years. They always did everything together, from business owners and managers at TSC Exploration Ltd for 22 years, to travelling many countries (Hawaii being her favorite), cruising, golfing, water and downhill skiing, enjoying their cabin, the lake, and planning their next adventures!

Sharon was a real cat lover, after Tony, they were the love of her life and best friends!

Very Reliable, Loving and Generous, she touched many hearts. She instantly won Tony's heart at a very young age but he had to work much harder to gain her parents approval!! They loved each other dearly and were always side by side until her last breath.

Sharon was unbelievably strong. The last four years of her life were full of challenges and her health declined rapidly. The family want to express their Special Thank You to Marie-Linda Plante, her Personal Caregiver, for her exceptional patience, loving care and outstanding professionalism. Also Thank You to Shannon Lappin, many Doctors involved and all the Staff at Cochrane Bethany Care Centre for their good care, kindness and empathy.
